A world class striker doesn't turn into total garbage overnight with 27. He had some injuries but nothing too serious he couldn't recover from at his age. His last injuries were back in 2010 if I recall correctly. Players like Iniesta and Robben have had far more muscle injuries than this guy. He definitely didn't lose any pace. He still looks very fast and all.
