What Do You Do with an Idea? by Kobi Yamada [Book Trailer]
This is a book trailer for the book, "What Do You Do with an Idea?" by Kobi Yamada and illustrated by Mae Besom. It is a Picture Storybook because of the elements it holds of imagination and the idea that both the text and pictures are needed to understand the book.
There are many elements in the trailer I created and a reason for each of them. I started the trailer with slow music and a simple question to draw the watcher it. The next few slides are additional questions that are the things most people would do; it is in black and white photos to bring out the sadder state of things. I transfer to different music when it shows all of the good things that come with having an idea and I start using colored pictures. The song I chose for the second part is Painting Flowers by All Time Low from the soundtrack of Alice in Wonderland. I felt like it fit because it went along with the imagination needed with the book. I chose multiple children for the images because the book can relate to everyone that reads it. The egg is in the trailer because that is what represents the idea in the book. Overall, the trailer is supposed to give you hope for your ideas. The book shows the benefits of feeding your imagination and believing in yourself.
